Small Delights

Back in early spring, I entered some embroidered brooches in a contest sponsored by PieceWork Magazine. I got word this week that while I did not win a prize, two of my entries were selected for display at the National NeedleArts Association's trade show in Columbus, Ohio, which took place June 13-15, and at the Museum of the Embroiderer's Guild of America in Louisville, Kentucky from July 1 through September 23. They will also be shown in the July/August issue of PieceWork. If you go to the PieceWork website you can see the winners and the other brooches selected for display.
These are the two of mine that were selected. They are shown larger than life here, and are actually only about 1 1/2 inches tall.
